Venue Hire
Located in one of the oldest and most unique buildings in the Blue Mountains, our bookshop is the perfect venue for hosting a range of workshops and events. From gigs, craft workshops, book clubs, film nights, weddings and Christmas parties, we've provided an affordable and unique space for all sorts of things!

We love hosting workshops, musicians, community groups, meetings and all sorts of gatherings!
For events and workshops, we provide free room hire and split proceeds 30% to us, 70% to you. In return for that 30% commission, we provide the following:
- Selling tickets through our Humanitix page
- Advertising your event through Humanitix
- Advertising your event through our Facebook page
- Advertising your event through our Instagram page
- Advertising your event through our weekly newsletter
- Advertising your event through our website
- Advertising your event through posters in our bookshop
- Set-up of the space
- Pack-down of the space
For meetings, community events and other related gatherings, we charge the following room hire rates:
- Inside the bookshop during bookshop hours - $35 per hour
- Inside the bookshop outside bookshop hours - $50 per hour
- In our garden during bookshop hours - $20 per hour
We do also offer discounts for local community groups and/or not for profits, so please let us know if you fall into one of these categories. And we have accommodation attached to the bookshop, with room for up to 4 people to stay!

Check out our Community Space, with disabled access and bathroom, communal table, projector screen and lovely ambience (fits around 35-40 people seated or around 50-60 standing room).

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation may be made up to 72 hours beforehand for a full refund.
Rubbish and Cleaning Up
Hirers are responsible for returning the room/s to their original state. Rubbish, especially recycling, must be taken away by the hirer.
