Eclipsed: Two Centuries Of Australian Women's Fiction

This anthology presents the range of Australian women's writings from the first white settlement to the present, and includes pieces by both established and newer writers, as well as pieces by writers who had previously been 'eclipsed' by their male counterparts.

Editors Connie Burns and Marygai McNamara have chosen works by authors such as Catherine Helen Spence, Caroline Woolmer Leaky and Miles Franklin, and combined them with contemporary writers such as Helen Garner, Sally Morgan and Margaret Coombs to produce a book which is not only representative of the rich tradition of writing by Australian women, but one that is also innovative and highly entertaining.
