Imagining Australian Space: Cultural Studies and Spatial Inquiry

Imagining Australian Space will be an important resource for students and teachers within Australian cultural studies, bringing together a number of approaches to spatial questions with a specifically Australian inflection.

They include European predictions and fantasies of the Great South Land; the culture of exploration and mapping; Aboriginal uses of space; bodies, identity, and corporeal spaces; nature, tourism and lost places; cyberspace, simulacra and the dissolution of space.
