Take a walk with internationally renowned artist Philippa Nikulinsky through the Great Victoria Desert. In an artwork painted on a continuous piece of Japanese kozo paper, Nikulinsky depicts the regeneration process of the iconic grass tree (Xanthorrhoea thorntonii). It unfolds through time to show the elegance of unburnt leaves, and in contrast the stark drama of bushfire-wrought sand dunes. This concertina book unfolds fully to a length of over four metres, making it a unique and surprising gift for lovers of art and nature.
