In 1902 a volcanic eruption devastates the island of Martinique. Many die - including a scientist on the verge of an astonishing breakthrough.

One hundred years later one of the smartest men on the planet completes the scientist's work. Now in possession of a device that means no secret is safe, he sets out to bring the world to its knees.
