This book, which accompanies an exhibition first shown at The Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art, consists of work by artists from across Europe - France, Germany, England, Belgium and the Netherlands - painted during the 70-year period between 1780 and 1850, namely the era of Neoclassicism and Romanticism, through to the dawn of Impressionism.
