Reasons of State

This is the story of Father Jerzy Popielusko, a parish priest in a Warsaw suburb, outspoken about the abuses of Communism. During October 1984 he was abducted by the Polish secret police - his savagely beaten corpse a testiment to the struggle for freedom, basic rights and dignity.
