Shane Tannahill, owner of the Golden Fleece Hotel and Casino, has a policy of never getting involved with employees, no matter how gorgeous.

But lately, the air sizzles when he's near Risa Sheridan, curator of the hotel's gold artifacts exhibit. He's seriously considering firing her, just to explore the possibilities.

Unfortunately, before Shane can get much closer to Risa, her friend Cherelle Faulkner arrives in Vegas. She asks Risa to appraise several pieces of Druid gold - but Shane is certain there's more to Cherelle's story than she's letting on. And he's right.

Now, instead of easing into romance, Shane and Risa suddenly find themselves plunged into a deadly conspiracy - and running for their lives.
