Dave Watson, a drug enforcement officer consumed by the quest to avenge the death of his wife and baby son; John Chang, a Los Angeles artefacts dealer with the face of an Eastern god and the eyes of a bandit; his beautiful, repressed wife, Julia - all three are haunted by demons from their past lives.

Inevitably they are drawn together in a dance with drugs, passion and death from the streets of LA, through the jungles of Thailand and finally to a confrontation with their own destiny in the mountains of Tibet.
