Summer is a magical time in the city and Carrie is in love with all of it - the crazy characters in her neighbourhood, the vintage-clothing boutiques, the wild club scene, and the mysterious new guys who have entered her life.

She's finally in a real writing class, taking her first steps toward fulfilling her dream. And there's the fact that she gets to live in Samantha Jones's apartment.
