The Magician's Assistant

Parsifal is a gay magician with a Vietnamese lover, Phan. When Phan dies of AIDS, he marries his devoted female assistant, Sabine. But Parsifal dies of a sudden aneurysm, and Sabine is left to confront her husband's past - the family and roots from which he divorced himself in life.
