The Penguin Book of Modern British Comic Writing

This companion book to "The Penguin Book of British Comic Stories" brings together a selection of non-fiction writing which displays a comic aspect.

The book encompasses nearly 50 years of British comic writing and includes, among many styles and genres, autobiographies, parodies, book reviews and travel writing.

The book includes contributions from writers as diverse as Rebecca West, George Orwell, Cyril Connolly, A.J.P. Taylor, John Mortimer, Germaine Greer and Fiona Pitt-Kethley.
