The Proteaceae of the Sydney Region

This book deals with the Banksias, Grevilleas, Hakeas and other plants of the family Proteaceae of the Sydney Region, ninety-four species in all.

Each species is illustrated with photographs of the plant in its natural habitat, and close-ups of the flowers, complemented by actual-size paintings of the fruit and seeds. Descriptions of each of the species illustrated are included.

The genera are arranged for convenience in alphabetical sequence; the species, subspecies and varieties in botanical order within each genus.
