The Virago Book of Spirituality: Of Women and Angels

This anthology looks at spirituality in its broadest sense and includes extracts from fiction and poetry as well as writings by women known for their search for spiritual fulfilment, women whose inner journeys were often very different from those of men.

Crossing all religious boundaries, disciplines and ages, this represents not just Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Sufism, but also women who do not conform to any mainstream orthodox religion.
