A novel by Irene Moores of Aboriginal deaths in custody, but based on true events.

About a black boy and white girl who grow up together in the country, where both were sent to escape a diphtheria epidemic. It tells also of their reunion many years later.

This gave rise to the author's quest for justice for the Aboriginal people.
