Bob Ansett, an autobiography

In 1965 Bob Ansett returned to the country of his birth, Australia, after three decades in the U.S. He was a 31-year-old flat-broke father of three with a somewhat larrikin past. He didn't know what he'd do, but he knew that whatever it was, he'd be the best at it. 

Today, the company he bought leads-indeed, dominates- the rental car market and turns over $156 million a year from many activities and holdings in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, Korea and Japan. Not bad growth from what was a six-car fleet 20 years ago. In the process he has become a provocative business thinker and independent-minded spokesman, a motivator and Australia's most respected businessman.
