Know Your Granny gives meaning to the importance and pride of knowing who you are in the present, by drawing on the past.

It provides an insight into the changed way of life for Aboriginal people, since the first days of settlement on Louisa Downs Station in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Told by the elders and adults who shared many of the early experiences, or who remember the stories, it is poignantly illustrated by Yiyili Community artists.
