Memorable moments in the Blue Mountains

The stories in this publication are associated with towns and villages lying in region this between Penrith and Mount Victoria in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales.

These settlements are part of a ribbon of close or contiguous towns lying on the Main
Western Railway Line and served by that line and the Great Western Highway.

Stories with a historic flavour have been published in mountain newspapers from early on. However, these have usually been sporadic in time, content and authority. This was the case until early 2012 when Blue Mountains Historical Society (BMHS) started having short articles published in the Echo Community Newspaper (the Echo).
